How monthly giving works

Your monthly donation is effective and convenient.

Effective—By providing a steady source of income you will provide weeks, months and years of protection to children in need, you are allowing us to provide services at a far lower cost than through regular fundraising.

Convenient—Whether you choose a credit card or automatic deduction from your bank account or with monthly reminders for payment by check, you still maintain control of the amount of your pledge and timing of your payments.

• UNICEF provides immunizations and vaccinations to more than half of the world's children
• In 2008 UNICEF distributed more than 19 million anti-malaria bed nets
• With UNICEF's help the number of schoolchildren in Bolivia with iodine deficiency disorders was reduced from 60% a decade ago to almost none today
• UNICEF is still the leader when it comes to emergency and disaster relief efforts for children. Every minute of every day, members of the one–of–a–kind operations center (OPSCEN)—an extraordinary, 24–hour emergency information and communications hub monitor potential emergencies and enable UNICEF workers to react almost instantly whenever and wherever disaster strikes.

Availability of funds: You are responsible for maintaining a sufficient credit limit available on your credit card on the payment date. If we are unable to process your gift, we will ask you to pay by check until you provide us with updated account information.

Record of payments: The amount and date of your automatic monthly gift will appear on your credit card statement. Log in to your online account to review your transaction history. Use the user name and password emailed to you on sign up to log in.

Account/donation change: To ensure timely payments, notify the Monthly Giving Coordinator of any credit card updates or address changes by phone or email (see below).
