To get started, select the option below that is most suitable for your efforts.

• Personal fundraising webpage – Choose this if you’ll be raising funds on your own.
  
  
• Team-based webpage -  Choose this option if you are leading a group or team fundraising campaign—for a community water walk or school event, for example.  You'll be able to invite others to join as team members to combine your efforts.

The person who initially creates the Team webpage will be designated as the Team Captain. Each team member will get their own fundraising webpage and online tools, and the funds they raise will count toward the overall team or event goal. This is a great option if you want to introduce an element of "friendly competition" to your fundraising efforts.

• Team member webpage - Choose this option to join an existing Team. Make sure you have the name of the Team you wish to join handy. You will have your own fundraising webpage and online tools, and the funds you raise through your page will count toward your Team's goal.

Once you've registered, you'll have access to a suite of tools to personalize your page, reach out to friends and family, and track your fundraising progress. Use the username and password emailed to you on completing registration of your webpage to login.

• Set or update your fundraising goal
• Create a custom URL for your webpage to post to your Facebook profile or Twitter feed
• Upload a video
• Share stories or
• Create your own blog

One of the most effective ways to succeed in meeting your fundraising goal is to personalize your webpage—so use these tools to share your thoughts about helping provide clean water and sanitation to children in need, as well as your success stories, tips, photos and videos from your participation in the UNICEF Tap Project. 

Once you've personalized your webpage, be sure to share the news with all your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors that you are raising funds to help bring clean, safe water to children who need it. Ask people to support your goal by donating via your webpage, or if you are a team member by joining your team and setting-up their own page.

To ask for support : 

• Send emails to everyone in your address book using our online tools to create and send emails as well as track responses 
• Post your custom URL to your webpage on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn to reach out to your social networks
