The Six Cents Initiative
Water is abundant.
Or so it seems...
After all, it covers more than 70% of the earth. But still, millions of children worldwide don't have access to the clean water they need to survive. As the story goes, there is "water, water,  everywhere, nor any drop to drink."
At a cost of only six cents, a mixture of sugar and salt called oral rehydration salts (ORS) offers the most effective way to help save lives during episodes of dehydration.
CKI's Six Cents Initiative with UNICEF is designed to help children get the rehydrating salts they need to survive dehydration spells and to help provide aid for UNICEF's water and sanitation programs as well as providing long-term solutions.
