Live Below the Line from May 7-11 to raise money for Sahel
We are happy to announce that US Fund for UNICEF has officially partnered with the Global Poverty Project for the Live Below the Line Campaign.
Live below the Line is a weeklong experiential activity where volunteers will live on $1.50 a day for food only in solidarity with the global poor. Each participant will have a fundraising page and a goal of raising $500 and all proceeds will go to UNICEF’s Emergency Preparedness Program in the Sahel region. Learn more about the Crisis in Sahel.
The campaign will run globally from May 7-11, 2012. As a campus volunteer, challenge yourself to see if you could live below a $1.50/day. Ask others to support your brave undertaking by donating on your fundraising page.

In March 2012, University of Montana Griz for UNICEF participated at the Annual International Culture and Food Festival. During their tabling, club leaders shared information about UNICEF Tap Project, sold baked goods, and raised over $1200 in just 5 hours! All the proceeds went to the UNICEF Tap Project Water, Sanitations and Hygiene Programs in Cameroon, Togo, Vietnam, and Mauritania.
