My son Omar, who is eight, says we should help the children of Somalia. He visited the US State Department website, and learned that hundreds of thousands of Somalian children may die because of famine, drought, and civil war. He wants to find a way for his friends to do something. Our family knows nothing about fund-raising, but we thought creating this page might be a start. Omar would also like to invite Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to come to his school and talk about the crisis. We'll see if she's available. :)
