Why I'm running...

Every day, 21,000 children around the globe die from preventable causes, simply because they don’t have access to clean water, immunizations, proper nutrition or protection during emergencies.

UNICEF, and I, believe that number should be zero.

This will be my first marathon and the culmination of a longstanding dream of running the ING New York City Marathon.

My challenge extends to you!

I'm asking my friends and family and all who view my page to help me support UNICEF by making a donation on my behalf, and in return, I promise to do my best and give it my all on the day of the marathon. (all 26.2 miles)

I promise to remember all of those who donated when I think I won't be able to finish. Thank you all for your love and support!
