Why I'm running...

Every day, 21,000 children around the globe die from preventable causes, simply because they don’t have access to clean water, immunisations, proper nutrition or protection during emergencies.

UNICEF, and I, believe that number should be zero.

I am running this marathon to fundraise for UNICEF’s programmes because I want to help UNICEF save more lives. I believe UNICEF has the global expertise, resources and reach to give children the best hope of survival.

My challenge extends to you!

I'm asking my friends and family and all who view my page to help me support UNICEF by making a donation on my behalf, and in return, I promise to do my best and give it my all on the day of the marathon.

I'm not only running for myself, but on behalf of the 21,000 children who die needlessly every day. Please donate!

Update on my progress...

I can't believe the marathon is 2 weeks today! I've been training hard, running and spinning, and completed a 20 miler last weekend! I've started to taper now in preparation for the big day - excited!
